Red pasta (miso and gochujang)
Sweet, spicy, and salty pasta sauce made with gochujang and miso paste. It’s a dollar lunch club crowd favorite that we just call “red pasta.” Everyone loves it! Make sure to check whether your gochujang is gluten free if accommodating allergies.


Moroccan-inspired butternut squash stew
Butternut squash and chickpeas stewed with tomatoes and warm spices. We served it with garden chives, lemon juice, and naan (and leftover bread). Squash and chives fresh from a friend’s garden.
Lentil rice with dates and fresh herbs
Lentils and rice steamed with warm spices, layered with caramelized onions, garlic, and chopped dates, topped with fresh herbs. This dish is inspired by Persian adas polo. We served it with fresh hummus and lemon juice.
